Tom Chater Park Clubhouse – 3195 The Collegeway
Our camps are aimed at 4 – 13 year old kids and will run between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday to Friday, with extended hours available for a small extra cost. Kids can come for the full week or for a few days.
We offer early drop off and late pick up for your children from 7:30 – 9:00 am and in the afternoons from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at an extra charge of $5 (+HST) per child for each session.
Wednesday – Bronte Creek Maple Syrop Festival (Includes pancakes for lunch)
Thursday Afternoon – Movie Theater (Choice between 2 or 3 movies)
Lunches/Snacks (Pizza Lunch on Friday)
Kids should bring 2 snacks each day.

Wednesday: Pancake lunch at Bronte Creek included for all campers (Bring a drink)

You may order a subway lunch during the registration process at an extra cost starting from $5.69 for a Kids’ Pak. You may also order 6 inch & footlong subs.
Camp 1: Ceramics & Crafts (Ages 4 to 7) (Ages 8 to 13)
Camp 2: All About STEM (Ages 4-7)
What is STEM? STEM is Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. STEM is everywhere today and in everything we do. It builds and teaches creativity, problem solving, life skills, ingenuity, resourcefulness, patience and curiosity. STEM is what shapes the future as our world grows and changes. For this camp, some of the projects include making a kaleidoscope, creating & launching a straw rocket, making a catapult and building a paddle boat that floats. Kids will also be introduced to coding using Blue-Bot, a bluetooth programmable floor robot.
Camp 3: Lego Robotics & Wacky Science (Ages 5 to 8)
Campers will use the new Lego WeDo Bluetooth version and tablets to build their models and then to program them with simple drag & drop software. In the afternoon, they will conduct fun & educational hands on science experiments.
Camp 4: MakeBlock Robotics & Coding with Scratch (Ages 9 to 13)
Camper’s will build robots using Makeblock kits which consists of aluminum parts, a powerful MegaPi mainboard, motors and a range of sensors. Once the robot is complete campers will learn to program the robot using block-based programming. Campers will develop their logical thinking and design skills. Campers will also learn how to use the Scratch platform to code fun games such as Asteroids, Flappy Birds, Crossy Roads, Rock Blaster, Ping Pong, Treasure Island and many more. Campers can choose from our extensive library of games that will grow their coding skills starting from beginner to advanced.
