Location

Tom Chater Park Clubhouse – 3195 The Collegeway

Our camps are aimed at 4 – 13 year old kids and will run between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday to Friday, with extended hours available for a small extra cost. Kids can come for the full week or for a few days.

 

Cost  

•         Full week – $255 plus tax per child – 10% off 2nd and 3rd child 
•         Single days – $55 plus tax, $65 plus tax  for Thursday Outing
 
 

Extended Hours 

We offer early drop off and late pick up for your children from 7:30 – 9:00 am and in the afternoons from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at an extra charge of $4 (+HST) per child for each session.

  

Field Trips

Tuesday Afternoon – Bronte Creek Maple Syrop Festival

Thursday Afternoon – Movie Theater (Choice of 2 or 3 movies)

 

Lunches/Snacks (Pizza Lunch on Friday)

Kids should bring their lunch and 2 snacks each day except on Friday where we have a pizza lunch & juice included.

 

Optional Subway Lunch on Wednesday

You may order a subway lunch during the registration process at an extra cost starting from $5.69 for a Kids’ Pak. You may also order 6 inch subs.

 

 

Camp Descriptions

  

Camp 1: Ceramics & Crafts   (Ages 4 to 7)  

Campers will paint ceramics, design & paint a t-shirt, hand sew a small animal with felt, build with polymer clay, paint a canvas and much more! 
 
 

Camp 2: Ceramics & Crafts  (Ages 8 to 12)

Campers will paint ceramics, design & paint a t-shirt, hand sew a small animal with felt, build with polymer clay, paint a canvas and much more! 
 
  

Camp 3: STEMP Camp – Lego Robotics & Wacky Science (Ages 5 & 6)

Campers will use the new Lego WeDo Bluetooth version and tablets to build their models and then to program them with simple drag & drop software. They will also explore the world of science by conducting hands on experiments.

 

Camp 4: STEM Camp – Lego Robotics & Wacky Science (Ages 7 & 8)

Campers will use the new Lego WeDo Bluetooth version and tablets to build their models and then to program them with simple drag & drop software. They will also explore the world of science by conducting hands on experiments.

 

Camp 5: STEM Camp – Lego Robotics and Coding with Scratch (Ages 9 to 13) 

Using Mindstorms EV3, campers will gain basic understanding of the Lego EV3 Brick, its motors and sensors. They will build different robots and thru various challenges will learn to program their robots. Kids will learn to program games using the Scratch programming platform.
