Our after school program will be held at our new location at 2828 Kingsway Dr, #2 in Oakville close to Clarkson in Mississauga and minutes from the Clarkson Go station.
We are now accepting applications for our after school program. Please fill out the application form below and send to email@example.com. No fees or deposits are required at this point until your place has been confirmed. We will have very limited full time spaces.
We offer many different classes after school. Kids will be picked up from their school and brought to Creative Kids Place. Upon arrival they will be served a snack and drink. Pick up time will be by 6:00 pm. There will be 3 session during the year where classes will change.
We can pick up at schools in Oakville and Mississauga. Please call to see if we can pick up at your kid’s school.

STEM – Coding with Robots
In this class kids will learn to code robots using block programming.
This program provides an exciting introduction to a wide variety of art techniques including drawing, painting & sculpture. Different paint medium such as acrylic, watercolours, chalk & oil pastels will be introduced. Mixed media will also be explored.
Sewing & Knitting
In this class kids will learn how to safely operate a sewing machine. They will learn to thread the machine and wind the bobbin. They will learn the skills to make things such as a plush owl, a dog or cat pillow, a tot bag, a draw string backpack, pajama shorts and a teddy bear. Kids will also learn basic knitting skills and make a scarf.
In this class, kids will create a variety of unique arts & craft projects such as mask making, terra cotta pot crafts, t-shirt crafts, soap making, mod podge & much more.
Kids will also be introduced to the world of clay and will create many projects that will be fired and painted using the coil, pinch & slab techniques. They will also learn how to throw clay on a pottery wheel and make a bowl.
Builders will be introduced to robotics using motors & sensors and building things like race cars, robots, helicopters, recycling truck, dinosaurs and more that can programmed to move and make sounds. For older builders we have Lego Mindstorms EV3 where kids engage in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) while building and programming their robots.
Video Game Coding
In this class kids will be introduced to logic & programming concepts using visual code blocks which make it easy for kids to learn. Kids will learn simple programming concepts, computational thinking (sequencing, pattern recognition, automation), problem solving, critical thinking, experimentation, creative expression & adapting to new challenges (8 week program).
