We will be running camps at the Streetsville United Church located at 274 Queen St. South in Mississauga from July 4th to August 25th, 2017. Streetsville United Church is located close to the Streetsville Go station.
1 Full Week = $235 + HST (Short Weeks – 4 days = $190 plus tax)
1 Full Day = $50 + HST, Thursday Full Day Outing = $60 + HST
If you register 2 or more siblings for the full week camp then a 10% discount will be applied to the second & 3rd child. This discount does not apply to single day camps.

Camps will run from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm with extended hours available. The morning portion will run from 9:00 am till 12:00 pm then 1 hour for lunch then the afternoon portion from 1:00 pm till 4:00 pm. 2 snacks should be provided daily; one for mid morning and another for mid afternoon.
Extended hours are available from 8:00 am to 9:00 am and from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. You may arrange a 7:30 drop off time by calling us at (905) 820-5437 after registering. The cost is $3.00 plus HST per child for the morning portion and $3.00 plus HST for the afternoon portion.
Every Tuesday afternoon there is an afternoon outing where kids will go bowling, go to Playdium, swimming & splash pads. On Thursdays there will be full day outings to places such as the Toronto Zoo, African Lion Safari, Science Center, Ripley’s Aquarium & Wild Water Kingdom. If you do not want your child attending these outings they may stay at Creative Kids Place. When registering online please indicate ‘No outing’ beside their name when selecting which camp they will be in.
A pizza and juice lunch is included on Fridays for full week campers.
New! Coding with Tynker (Ages 8 yo 12)
Tynker is an educational programming platform aimed at teaching kids how to make games and programs. Kids will be programming using netbooks.
Ceramics, Clay & Crafts
Campers will paint beautiful ceramics pieces, hand build clay structures and create a variety of crafts such as t-shirt painting, pearler bead designs, polymer clay, clay pot crafts, soap making, wood crafts & more.
Junior Lego Robotics (Ages 5 to 8)
We offer multiple themes so that Lego enthusiasts have new projects each week. Models include motors and sensors that can then be programmed to move and make sounds using simple block technology.
Science Theme: Kids will engage in learning experiences that make science come to life. Some of the topics/models include a science rover, robust structures (earthquake), a frog’s metamorphosis, plants & pollinators, drop & rescue helicopter and flooding prevention (dam).
City Theme : Engineers of the future will build robots that can improve life in a modern city. Models include building a crane, a helicopter, a windmill, a lift, a firetruck, a mine railway & more.
Space Theme: This theme take us into outer space where kids will build models based on real life such as the Mars rover ‘Curiosity’, a robotic arm and a space shuttle. Kids will also construct models based on the ‘Star Wars’ franchise such as an X-WING spacecraft and an AT-ST Walker.
Safari Theme: In this camp kids will build and explore different animals such as a gorilla, a dragonfly, a scorpion, a giraffe a pelican, a horse & more.
Lego Robotics using Mindstorms (Ages 9 to 13)
Kids will build various robots using different sensors (gyro, ultrasonic, color & touch) and will learn to program these robots to move, turn & make sounds. They will learn to interprete the sensors feedback to make it perform certain tasks.
Children will learn how to thread a sewing machine, wind a bobbin and will make fun projects like a teddy bear, a dog cushion, a tote bag, a drawstring backpack, a water bottle sling & pyjama shorts. Projects will change in each session so you may repeat this camp.
Multi-Sports & Games (Ages 5 to 10)
Campers will play a variety of sports & games such as dodgeball, soccer, volleyball, golf, badmington & Capture the Flag at a nearby park. On Wednesdays, campers will travel to a nearby golfing range and will receive instructions on the fundamentals of golf such as how to hold the clubs, how to swing, when to use each club & how to putt. They will also practice their putting on the 18 hole mini golf course. In case of rain campers will stay indoors and do crafts or Lego.
